Pre-construction works commencing for East Anglia ONE

After years of planning, surveying and liaising with stakeholders, January 2017 will see ScottishPower Renewables commence pre-construction works for East Anglia ONE, which is the first major step in constructing the offshore windfarm.

Dersalloch Windfarm Powers On in South Ayrshire

A new windfarm that is capable of supplying electricity to over 40,000 homes has officially opened in South Ayrshire. Dersalloch Windfarm, located on Dersalloch Hill between Straiton and Dalmellington, features 23 turbines with an installed capacity of 69 megawatts. Local community groups will also boosted by a community benefits package worth more than a total of £8.5million over the next 25 years.
